COMPREHEND brings together a large network of leading European experts in infectious diseases and health-economic modelling.
Our multidisciplinary team includes specialists in infectious disease epidemiology, social and spatial epidemiology, health economics with a special focus on infectious diseases and vulnerable populations, clinical medicine, virology, mathematics, public health and social medicine.
With years of experience in infectious disease and economic modelling, our consortium excels in scenario modelling, comparative evaluations of preventive measures, and forecasting disease dynamics. Beyond technical expertise, we are committed to translating complex modelling results into clear, actionable insights, ensuring that policymakers, scientists and the public receive timely information to guide critical decisions.
Additionally, COMPREHEND collaborates with institutions that possess advanced modelling capabilities and are members of the Modelling Network for Severe Infectious Diseases (MONID).
